How a curtain job works

  1. Choose your fabric and tapeYou buy the fabric and heading tape you like.
  2. Measure the windowWidth and drop for each window you want done.
  3. Send me a textYour measurements, the heading style, and where they’re going.
  4. I sew them upMade, or your existing curtains altered, ready to hang.

Pick a heading style

The heading is the top of the curtain. It decides how the curtain hangs and gathers. These photos are my own work, and I make all six styles.

  • A white caravan curtain on its rod

    Rod pocket

  • Pinch pleats sewn by hand across the top of a blue curtain

    Pinch pleat

  • A pencil pleat heading gathered on a curtain, with a tape measure beside it

  • Finished eyelet curtains hanging from a rod

  • Tab top

  • Tie-backs

Too long? I’ll take them up.

Got your measurements?

Text them through with the heading style you’d like, or a quick description of the mending job. A photo helps.
